The Greater Coleto House of Rest was founded in 1987 by: Eld. Loren Ring.  Eld. Loren Ring felt the leading of the Lord to start a ministry in the city of Coleto, GI.  After much prayer and fasting, the church was formed.

Through prayer, witnessing, fellowshipping, and outreach, the Greater Coleto House of Rest has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception in 1987 under the leadership of Eld. Loren Ring. He is helped in the ministry by his wife Kirstie Ring. They work tirelessly with the help of the assistant pastor, Elder Jim McDonald, and the other leaders of the church.

The church joined the Greater Buelahland Fellowship in 1989.  Under the leadership of Pastor Patrick Noah Miller, III, through the Greater Buelahland Fellowship, GI; the church has flourished significantly through its programs.

The Greater Coleto House of Rest is also a member of the Sons of the Ministry.

The church has a number of ministries that help its members grow in Christ.  The church's leadership team and ministry staff members are well trained to minister to the members of Greater Coleto House of Rest.
